The Scott Homestead was established in 1890, the land was originally
deeded to the Scott Family by President Benjamin Harrison. My family
has tended the land and nurtured the wildlife for over 115 years.
Today, the Scott
Homestead is a working farm that is located 9 miles north of
Burwell, Nebraska.
The Scott Homestead
hunting operations includes 2500 acres of rolling pastures,
cedars, tree filled creek bottoms, agriculture and river front that
is all privately owned or leased.

Both Whitetail deer and Mule deer populations roam the area. Merriam
and Rio Grande turkeys, pheasants, grouse, quail, geese, bobcats
and coyotes also inhabit the property.
The
vision of the
Scott Homestead started a young boy hunting with my father.
Today those dreams continue with the Scott Homestead, we offer an
opportunity that is affordable for a son or daughter to enjoy a
quality hunt with their parents and grandparents.
To keep the cost of the hunt affordable for all, hunters and their
guests are responsible for all game tags, ammo, weapons and game
processing.
